BRISKAL Medical Billing (Alberta)
In 1983, BRISKAL Systems Ltd. developed and installed our first Medical Billing programs for Alberta Physicians. Over the years, the system has been improved and upgraded to meet the needs of medical practitioners and to incorporate changes as determined by the Alberta Department of Health. Today, many Alberta clinics are using this mature, proven product to meet their billing and accounts receivable requirements. The system is continually upgraded in order to comply with new specifications from Alberta Health and Wellness.

BRISKAL Medical Billing Program Features
- preparation of claims for Alberta Health Care (AHC)
- reconciliation of payments received from AHC
- Medical Reciprocal (out-of-province) claims through AHC
- billings to Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB)

daily and annual AHC limits

- Additional on-site support and training is available on a fee-for-
service basis at current BRISKAL hourly rates
